The word 'Supplier' does not appear as a standalone organisation type anywhere in that document, and no published source collected for this study defines the version 9 label 'Supplier' at all, so carrying the threshold across to it is our inference and is flagged as one wherever it appears. Smaller suppliers are therefore mixed into a bucket of 12,041 entries alongside charities, hospices and NHS business partners, and cannot be separated. NHS ODS cannot separate them either: it has no IT-supplier role, and commercial suppliers sit under the generic RO157 NON-NHS ORGANISATION.","A sector label is frozen at the cycle in which the organisation last published, so it is not a live attribute. Retired labels are therefore lapsed by construction: 19 of the register's sector labels have no assessment from 2025-26 or later at all, because the label itself was withdrawn before that cycle opened.
