The EliteBook X G1a keeps things simpler with a single AMD platform and AMD PRO manageability, which eases imaging and support, but it has no Intel vPro option. If your endpoint tooling assumes vPro, go G2 Intel; if you want one proven AMD SKU across the fleet, the G1a is the cleaner standard.
