What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also keep items in your browser's local or session storage, which the law treats in the same way. This page lists every cookie and browser-storage item that www.servnetuk.com (the "Site") uses, who sets it, how long it lasts, and whether we ask for your consent first. Your Choice
Analytics cookies run by default, and you can switch them off whenever you like: use “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page, or the button below. When you switch them off we stop Google Analytics for the rest of your visit and delete the Google Analytics cookies, sn_attr and the other items in that group from your browser, and we remember that choice for 12 months. Switching analytics cookies off does not stop you reading the Site, using its tools or sending us an enquiry. We never load Google Analytics in our tools when they are embedded in other websites, or in our staff areas.

_gaDistinguishes one browser from another so Google Analytics can count visits and show how pages are used.
_ga_G3ETKFPQGBKeeps track of the current visit for our Google Analytics property. Through Google Analytics we also record events such as an enquiry being sent (with its reference number, enquiry type and page) and our phone number being clicked, so we can see which pages and Google adverts lead to enquiries. Google's personalised advertising and "Google signals" features are switched off for our site. Depending on the settings Google applies, Google Analytics can also set cookies whose names begin _gcl_ to link a visit to a click on one of our Google adverts; if it does, they are covered by the same choice and deleted if you withdraw it.
sn_attrSet only when you arrive through a link that carries advert click identifiers (gclid, wbraid or gbraid) or campaign tags (utm_ values). It holds those values, the landing page, the referring page and the time. If you send an enquiry, these details are stored with it so we can see which advert or campaign it came from and, for adverts, tell Google Ads whether the enquiry led to business. If you arrive with those tags before choosing, we hold them in the page's memory only and write this cookie only if you then accept.
sn_tracked_refsOn our thank-you page, the enquiry reference numbers already counted in Google Analytics, so the same enquiry is not counted twice.
sn_livechat_trackedThe reference numbers of live-chat enquiries already counted in Google Analytics, so the same enquiry is not counted twice.
Set Without Asking
We set these without asking because each one only remembers a choice you made or makes a feature you are using work. None is used for analytics or advertising, and none is shared with anyone else.
sn_consentRemembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, and when, so we don't ask on every page. Set when you make a choice in the banner. After 12 months we ask again.
sn_global_ship_toast_v1Set only if you close the "we ship internationally" notice with its × button, so it stays closed.
sn_livechatSet only if you start a live chat. It holds your chat's reference and access key so the conversation stays with you as you move between pages.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also block or delete cookies, and clear browser storage, in your browser settings (see your browser’s help pages). If you delete sn_consent, the banner will ask you again. Our web server also keeps standard request records, which do not use cookies; our Privacy Policy explains how we use them.
