This policy explains Servnet Limited’s position in relation to finance, and applies to every part of the servnetuk.com website that mentions finance, leasing, hire purchase or monthly payments — including our IT finance calculator and any indicative monthly figures shown alongside products and configurations.
For the avoidance of doubt:
- Servnet is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA");
- Servnet does not intend to offer regulated consumer finance products;
- Servnet does not intend to undertake regulated credit broking activities;
- all finance opportunities will be referred to Business Finance Match Limited trading as Number Eight Business Finance for handling, placement and completion.
Our role: introducer, not finance provider
Servnet supplies IT hardware, software and services. We do not provide finance, lend money, or arrange finance facilities. Where a customer would like to spread the cost of an IT investment, we introduce them to Business Finance Match Limited trading as Number Eight Business Finance, an independent specialist business asset-finance intermediary. That firm — not Servnet — handles, places and completes the finance, deals with the funder, and is responsible for any advice, recommendation, documentation or agreement relating to it.
What the figures on this website are
Our finance calculator, estimators and any monthly-payment figures shown alongside products are indicative illustrations generated by a simple arithmetic model. They are provided so you can gauge the approximate shape of a funding package before you speak to anybody. They are not an offer of finance, not a quotation, not a pre-approval, and not financial advice. No figure shown on this website is binding on Servnet, on the intermediary, or on any funder.
How your figures are produced
Illustrations are calculated from the equipment value, term, deposit and finance type you enter, using representative rental factors for UK business asset finance. They exclude VAT and any documentation or option-to-purchase fees unless expressly stated. APR ranges shown are typical market ranges for business asset finance, not a rate you have been offered. The rate, term and structure you are actually offered are set by the funder following a credit assessment, and will differ.
Business customers only
Our IT finance introductions are intended for UK businesses, charities, education and public-sector organisations acquiring equipment for business use. We do not offer, and do not intend to offer, regulated consumer finance products, and we do not undertake regulated consumer credit activities.
Eligibility and credit assessment
All finance is subject to status, to the funder’s credit assessment, and to the funder’s terms and conditions. Any eligibility indication given on this website is a guide based solely on the information you enter and does not mean an application will be accepted. Acceptance decisions are made by the funder alone.
What we receive
Servnet may receive a commission or introductory fee from the intermediary or funder in respect of a completed finance agreement. This does not affect the price you pay for the equipment. You may request further details of any such arrangement before entering into a finance agreement.
Complaints
If your concern relates to equipment, delivery or services supplied by Servnet, please contact us directly and we will handle it under our standard complaints process. If your concern relates to a finance agreement, the advice given about it, or the conduct of the finance application, it should be directed to the intermediary or the funder concerned, who are responsible for those matters and who operate their own regulated complaints procedures.
