Expert Analysis

Specs web-verified from manufacturer datasheets · Servnet-reviewed · Last reviewed 8 Sept 2026

The Dell Pro Plus 14 is the superior choice for mobile professionals demanding versatile configurations and portability, whereas the Dell Pro Plus 16 caters to desk-bound staff requiring expansive workspace and greater internal storage capacity. Weighing from 1.40 kg compared to the 1.84 kg starting weight of the Dell Pro Plus 16, the 14.0-inch model provides a markedly more portable chassis for hybrid workers. It also offers broader silicon options across Intel Core Ultra 200U, Core Ultra 200V, and AMD Ryzen AI PRO, bringing Copilot+ compliance with 40+ TOPS NPU options not listed on the 16.0-inch variant. Furthermore, the Dell Pro Plus 14 presents greater display variety to order, including QHD+ resolution, 400-nit low-power panels, 500-nit e-Privacy filters, and touchscreen capabilities, alongside upgradable SO-DIMM memory on its 200U builds. Conversely, the Dell Pro Plus 16 is engineered around a larger 16.0-inch FHD+ anti-glare display and delivers substantial dual-drive capability, featuring two M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe bays supporting up to 4 TB total storage compared to the single-drive 2 TB maximum on the 14-inch unit. It also integrates standard RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet and a microSD reader natively. Both devices share 55 Wh battery options with rapid ExpressCharge Boost capability and robust connectivity, including twin Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, and optional 5G mobile broadband.
