The 200U builds keep two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots for mid-life memory upgrades; the Lunar Lake and Ryzen AI builds trade that for Copilot+ NPUs and longer battery life, with memory fixed at order. We help you split the estate by role — and quote both in one order with volume breaks from 5 units.

The two 200U builds take socketed DDR5 (upgradeable to 64 GB); Copilot+ builds (236V–268V and Ryzen AI) have fixed memory. QHD+ 120 Hz, privacy panels, 5G WWAN, smart card and RJ45 options to order.

Common questions

Intel 200U, Intel 200V or AMD — which should we standardise on?

Core Ultra 200U if you value upgradeable memory (two SO-DIMM slots, to 64 GB) and the widest config matrix including RJ45. Lunar Lake (200V) if battery life and Copilot+ AI features lead — its 16/32 GB is fixed at order, so size it for the machine's full life. AMD Ryzen AI PRO delivers the strongest NPU-per-pound. All three share the chassis, dock compatibility and image process, so mixed estates stay manageable.

Is the memory upgradeable?

Only on the Intel Core Ultra 200U builds, which use two DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM slots (to 64 GB). The Lunar Lake (200V) configurations use on-package LPDDR5x-8533 and the AMD builds soldered LPDDR5x-7500 — both fixed at purchase. This is the single biggest specification decision on this platform: five of our nine stocked configurations are fixed-memory.

What does Copilot+ mean on this laptop?

Copilot+ PC is Microsoft's hardware bar for on-device AI features — it requires a 40+ TOPS NPU. The Lunar Lake (Core Ultra 200V) and AMD Ryzen AI configurations meet it; the standard Core Ultra 200U builds do not. If your roadmap includes Windows on-device AI features, standardise on the Copilot+ tiers.

Is there a 2-in-1 version?

Yes — Dell makes a Pro 14 Plus 2-in-1 (360° convertible, touch, Gorilla Glass Victus) on the same platform. Our nine stocked configurations are the clamshell laptop; ask us to quote the 2-in-1 to order.
