As a Snapdragon (Arm) Copilot+ PC, the G1q uses two USB4 40 Gbps USB-C ports rather than Thunderbolt 4, which is exclusive to Intel models. It still supports Power Delivery charging, single-cable docking and dual external displays.

Does the HP ProBook 4 G1q have Thunderbolt 4?

No. As a Snapdragon (Arm) Copilot+ PC it provides two USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gbps with Power Delivery and DisplayPort output. Thunderbolt 4 is exclusive to Intel-based models, but USB4 docks and dual external displays are still fully supported.

Is it a Copilot+ PC?

Yes. The Snapdragon X Hexagon NPU delivers 45 TOPS, above Microsoft's 40 TOPS Copilot+ threshold, so it runs on-device AI features such as Windows Studio Effects, Live Captions and Cocreator.

Will my business software run on the Snapdragon (Arm) version?

Windows 11 on Arm runs Arm-native apps natively and most x64/x86 apps through the built-in Prism emulation. Microsoft 365, Teams, Edge and Chrome and mainstream line-of-business tools are broadly supported; verify any specialist or driver-dependent software (VPN clients, security agents) is Arm-compatible before a fleet rollout - we can help you check.

Does it include vPro or remote management?

No - vPro is an Intel-only technology and is not offered on the Snapdragon G1q. The laptop does include HP Wolf Pro Security Edition and standard Windows 11 Pro management via Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.

What warranty and security software are included?

Each unit ships with Windows 11 Pro, a 1-year HP Wolf Pro Security Edition licence and HP's standard 1-year limited warranty. On-site and multi-year warranty uplifts are available on enquiry.
