Why buy it from Servnet
Common questions
Does the HP ProBook 4 G1a have Thunderbolt?
No. The ProBook 4 G1a is an AMD Ryzen platform, so it uses two USB-C 10 Gbps ports (USB Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 1.4) plus HDMI 2.1 for external displays and docks. Thunderbolt 4 is Intel-only - if you specifically need Thunderbolt, look at the Intel-based HP ProBook 4 G1i instead.
How much memory does it take?
The ProBook 4 G1a has two SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 48 GB of DDR5-5600 as standard (2 x 24 GB), rising to 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) in selected markets. Both slots are user-accessible, so memory can be upgraded later.
What display resolutions are available?
HP offers UWVA (wide viewing angle) 16:10 panels in touch and non-touch, up to 400 nits. The 16-inch goes up to 2.5K WQXGA (2560 x 1600) and the 14-inch up to 2.2K (2240 x 1400), with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) as the baseline. Tell Servnet your preferred size and panel and we quote the exact SKU.
Is it a Copilot+ PC?
No. The Ryzen 7 250 models are branded AMD 'AI PC' with a Ryzen AI NPU rated up to 16 TOPS, which is below Microsoft's 40+ TOPS requirement for Copilot+. The laptop runs Windows 11 Pro and standard Windows AI features, but Copilot+ exclusive experiences are not enabled.
What is the difference between the SKUs on this page?
They are configurations of the same line. You can choose 14-inch or 16-inch, touch or non-touch, the 8-core Ryzen 7 250 (Radeon 780M) on most models or the entry Ryzen 5 220 (Radeon 740M) on the D74RMAT G1ah, with RAM up to 48 GB and SSD up to 1 TB. Tell Servnet your size, processor and capacity and we quote the exact member SKU.
What warranty is included, and can Servnet extend it?
A 1-year (1/1/0) HP limited warranty covering parts and labour (no on-site) is standard, along with one year of HP Wolf Pro Security Edition. Servnet can add HP Care Pack on-site next-business-day cover and multi-year Wolf Pro licences on enquiry.
