Does the ZBook Ultra G1a have Thunderbolt 4?
Yes. Unusually for an AMD laptop, HP certifies two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports (40 Gbps, DisplayPort 2.1, USB Power Delivery) on the ZBook Ultra G1a, alongside a USB-C 10 Gbps, USB-A 10 Gbps and HDMI 2.1. It is one of the few AMD Ryzen platforms with full Thunderbolt 4.
Is it a Copilot+ PC?
Yes. Its AMD Ryzen AI NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS, above the 40 TOPS Microsoft requires, so it qualifies as a Copilot+ PC and supports on-device AI features in Windows 11.
Can I upgrade the memory later?
No. The LPDDR5x memory is soldered on-board for bandwidth, so choose the capacity you need at purchase - up to 128 GB. Up to 96 GB of that unified memory can be assigned to the integrated GPU.
Does it support Intel vPro?
No. vPro is an Intel technology. The ZBook Ultra G1a uses AMD Ryzen AI Max PRO silicon, which provides AMD PRO manageability and security features rather than Intel vPro.
What warranty and support are available?
