Which HPE ProLiant models can I configure?
The full Gen11 line — entry Xeon E-2400 (DL20, ML30, MicroServer), Xeon Scalable (DL320, DL360, DL380, ML110, ML350, DL560) and AMD EPYC (DL145, DL325, DL345, DL365, DL385) — plus Gen12 Intel Xeon 6 (DL320, DL340, DL360, DL380, DL580, ML350).
Does the configurator only show options my chosen server supports?
Yes. Each model is gated to its real platform — a DL20 only shows Xeon E-2400 CPUs, an EPYC DL385 only shows EPYC processors, and the chassis only offers its actual drive backplanes, socket counts and DIMM limits.
Can I add a boot device and multiple drive cages?
Yes — add an NS204i-u M.2 boot cage plus the front, rear or EDSFF backplanes valid for that model, and any mix of drives with quantities; the chassis diagram validates bays live.
