The Arista 7060X6 Series is the industry's highest-density single-chip 800G switching platform, designed for AI back-end networks and next-generation data centre spine deployments. The 7060X6-64PE (2RU) delivers 64× 800G OSFP800 ports with 51.2 Tbps total throughput and 165MB of on-chip buffer — and the 7060X6-32PE (1RU) provides 32× 800G with 25.6 Tbps in a more compact footprint.
As part of Arista's EtherLink™ AI networking portfolio, the 7060X6 is purpose-engineered for the traffic patterns of distributed AI training. GPU collective operations (AllReduce, AllGather) create synchronised burst traffic across all links simultaneously — a pattern that defeats static ECMP load balancing and overwhelms shallow-buffer switches. The 7060X6's deep buffer, AI Analyzer telemetry, and advanced DCQCN address this fundamental AI networking challenge.
The switch supports full lossless Ethernet with Priority Flow Control (PFC), ECN, and DCQCN — enabling RoCEv2 RDMA for GPU-to-GPU memory transfers without InfiniBand infrastructure. NVIDIA GPUDirect RDMA, AMD ROCm RDMA, and high-performance storage protocols (NVMe-oF, VAST, WEKA) all rely on lossless Ethernet for consistent performance; the 7060X6 provides this at 800G line rate.
Like all Arista platforms, the 7060X6 runs a single binary EOS image with CloudVision management, Zero Touch Provisioning, and full programmability via eAPI, OpenConfig, gNMI, and Python. The AI Analyzer telemetry engine streams per-queue congestion data at nanosecond resolution to CloudVision for real-time visibility into GPU cluster performance bottlenecks.
