Each OSFP800 port supports 800G as a single interface or breakout to 2× 400G, 4× 200G, 8× 100G, or 8× 50G. 64 OSFP800 ports provide 128× 400G equivalents from a 2RU switch — the highest per-rack bandwidth density available. This directly reduces the number of spine switches required in large GPU cluster deployments, cutting cable count, power, and cost proportionally.

The 7060X6 is an Ethernet switch and does not natively interoperate with InfiniBand. However, it is designed as the Ethernet alternative to InfiniBand for AI clusters — supporting RoCEv2 (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) which provides similar RDMA semantics to InfiniBand over standard 800G Ethernet infrastructure.
