The platform is Intel Core Ultra Series 1 (Meteor Lake) H-class, up to a Core Ultra 7 165H with 16 cores and an integrated Intel AI Boost NPU for Windows Studio Effects. The H-series silicon gives the 1040 more sustained throughput than the 840 G11, while keeping the weight down. Memory is LPDDR5x up to 32 GB; storage is a serviceable PCIe Gen4 SSD up to 2 TB.
