Common questions

Which processors does the EliteBook 640 G11 use?

Intel Core Ultra (Series 1) chips: the 28W H-series Core Ultra 5 125H/135H and Core Ultra 7 155H/165H, and the 15W U-series Core Ultra 5 125U/135U and Core Ultra 7 155U/165U. The SKUs Servnet stocks use the Core Ultra 7 155H and the Core Ultra 5 125H.

Is it a Copilot+ PC?

No. It is an AI PC with an Intel AI Boost NPU, but Core Ultra Series 1 does not meet the 40+ TOPS NPU threshold Microsoft sets for the Copilot+ badge. It still runs Windows 11 with Copilot and NPU-accelerated Windows Studio effects. If you need a Copilot+ EliteBook, ask us about HP's newer EliteBook 6/8 G1i line.

Does it have Thunderbolt 4 and Intel vPro?

Yes to Thunderbolt 4 - two USB-C ports at 40Gbps with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4. Intel vPro is available on selected processors (for example the Core Ultra 7 165H and Core Ultra 5 135H); the 155H and 125H configurations listed here are non-vPro, so tell us if you need a vPro-managed build.

How much memory and storage can it take?

Up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 across two SODIMM slots, and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD, with self-encrypting OPAL2 drive options for data-at-rest protection.

What warranty and support are included?

A one-year HP limited hardware warranty as standard, with HP Wolf Pro Security Edition preloaded. Multi-year and on-site next-business-day HP Care Pack upgrades are available on enquiry through Servnet.
