Does the EliteBook 8 G1a have Thunderbolt?
Yes. Despite being an AMD Ryzen AI platform, HP's QuickSpecs list two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C, 40 Gbps, with DisplayPort 2.1 and USB Power Delivery), so it supports Thunderbolt 4 docking, charging and dual external displays over a single cable. A second USB-C (DisplayPort 1.4), full-size USB-A and HDMI 2.1 round out the I/O.
Is it a Copilot+ PC?
Yes. Every configuration uses an AMD Ryzen AI NPU rated at 50 TOPS, which is above the 40 TOPS threshold Microsoft requires for the Copilot+ PC experience on Windows 11.
Does it support Intel vPro?
No. vPro is Intel-only. PRO-branded chips such as the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 350 provide AMD PRO manageability and security features instead. For Intel vPro, consider the EliteBook 8 G1i.
What sizes and screens are available?
The family comes in 13.3-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch bodies with 16:10 UWVA panels. Most are WUXGA (1920 x 1200); the 14 and 16-inch also offer a 2.5K (2560 x 1600) 120 Hz option. Brighter 800-nit panels add sRGB 100% and optional HP Sure View 5 privacy, while entry panels are 300 nits (sRGB 62.5%); touch is available on selected builds.
What warranty and software are included?
Configurations ship with Windows 11 Pro, a 1-year (1/1/0) limited warranty and a 1-year HP Wolf Pro Security licence. Servnet UK can arrange HP Care Pack extensions and on-site next-business-day uplifts.
