Common questions

Which EliteBook 8 G1i models are true Copilot+ PCs?

Only the Intel Lunar Lake models — Core Ultra 7 268V and 256V — are Microsoft Copilot+ PCs, with a 47-48 TOPS Intel AI Boost NPU. The Arrow Lake-H models (265H/255H) are AI PCs with a 13 TOPS NPU; they are faster, higher-core CPUs but do not carry the Copilot+ badge.

Does the EliteBook 8 G1i have Thunderbolt 4?

Yes. Every 8 G1i is an Intel platform, so all configurations include two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C, 40Gbps, USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 2.1), alongside a USB-C 10Gbps port, USB-A and HDMI 2.1.

Which processors support Intel vPro?

vPro is available on the eligible Intel chips — including the Core Ultra 7 268V and 265H — while the 256V and 255H are non-vPro. If you need vPro remote management across the fleet, tell us and we will quote only vPro-eligible SKUs.

Can the memory be upgraded?

It depends on the silicon. The Copilot+ Lunar Lake models use onboard LPDDR5x-8533 (16GB or 32GB, not upgradeable, max 32GB). The Arrow Lake-H AI-PC models use two DDR5 SODIMM slots and can be configured up to 64GB.

What warranty and support are included?

Units ship with HP's standard 1/1/0 limited warranty (one year parts and labour, no on-site) and a one-year HP Wolf Pro Security Edition licence. Servnet can add multi-year and on-site/next-business-day HP Care Pack uplifts on enquiry.
