The HP ProBook 460 16 inch G11 is the large-screen member of HP's value commercial family - effectively a ProBook 440 scaled up to a 16-inch 16:10 display with a full numeric keypad. It is the right standard issue for staff who want more screen real estate at their desk or in hybrid use without paying for an EliteBook, and for roles (finance, operations, data entry) where a number pad matters.
It shares the 440's Intel Core Ultra (Series 1) platform - Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 in H- and U-series variants, each with an Intel AI Boost NPU and integrated Intel Arc graphics. Memory is upgradeable across two SODIMM slots to 48 GB of DDR5-5600, and the M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSD is replaceable, so configurations can be specced economically and grown over the fleet's life.
The bigger chassis brings a sharper display option - WQXGA (2560 x 1600) in addition to WUXGA - and the same comprehensive port set: two USB-C 20Gbps ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery, two USB-A, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, with optional SD and nano-SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6E and optional 4G LTE WWAN.
