It is designed for large branch offices and high-density distributed enterprise environments that demand maximum throughput without moving to a rackmount appliance.
With 3.0 Gbps of Threat Prevention throughput and 400,000 concurrent sessions, the PA-460 comfortably handles large branches of several hundred users while maintaining full security inspection including SSL/TLS decryption, IPS, URL filtering, DNS Security, and WildFire malware analysis.
The PA-460 supports dual redundant power supplies and Active/Passive or Active/Active high availability — providing the same resilience capabilities as larger 1U rackmount appliances in a desktop footprint. Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) enables rapid deployment to remote locations without on-site engineering.
