The Palo Alto PA-820 (PAN-PA-820) is a 1U rackmount next-generation firewall designed for enterprise branch offices and midsized businesses that require more physical port density than a desktop appliance can provide. With 12 × GE RJ45, 4 × GE SFP, and 2 × SFP+ ports in a compact 1U chassis, the PA-820 offers flexible connectivity for complex branch environments.
Delivering 1.5 Gbps of App-ID-enabled firewall throughput and 800 Mbps of Threat Prevention, the PA-820 is powered by PAN-OS and includes the full Palo Alto security stack — App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS, URL Filtering, DNS Security, WildFire, and GlobalProtect VPN — in a single integrated platform.
Note: The PA-820 is now end-of-sale and has been succeeded by the PA-1410 and PA-1420 in Palo Alto's current lineup. However, it remains widely deployed and fully supported under PAN-OS. Servnet can supply the PA-820 as well as advise on upgrade paths to current-generation models.
