The Juniper SRX5400 is the entry-point into Juniper's modular SRX5000 chassis family — a purpose-built data-centre and service provider firewall platform. The 3U SRX5400 chassis accepts Services Processing Cards for security throughput and I/O cards for interface flexibility, delivering 280 Gbps of firewall throughput and support for 100 million concurrent sessions.
The SRX5400 supports a broad range of interface options — 1GE copper and SFP, 10GE SFP+, 40GE QSFP+, and 100GE QSFP28 — enabling deployment in any data-centre architecture. All SRX5000 series firewalls run the same Junos OS, share line cards and management infrastructure, and integrate with Juniper Security Director for centralised policy across the entire Juniper firewall estate.
