About the Juniper SRX5600
The Juniper SRX5600 Services Gateway is Juniper's mid-range chassis firewall, delivering 1 Tbps of stateful firewall throughput and 256 million concurrent sessions in a 5U chassis. Widely deployed by large enterprises, internet service providers, cloud operators, and government networks, the SRX5600 addresses environments where no fixed-form firewall can provide sufficient throughput or interface density.
The SRX5600 uses the same Services Processing Cards and I/O cards as the SRX5400 and SRX5800 — simplifying spare part management across the SRX5000 family. With 5 I/O card slots, the SRX5600 can host a combination of 10GE, 40GE, and 100GE interfaces for any data-centre connectivity requirement. Full Junos OS consistency across the SRX family means policy migration, CLI familiarity, and management integration are seamless.
