The X9-15p trades the standard Aura 15’s efficiency-class V-series for the H-class Core Ultra X7 358H — 16 cores and a stronger Arc B390 GPU for heavier local work. Memory is soldered LPDDR5X-9600 at 32 GB (64 GB is a factory-order option), so size it for the machine’s full life. We quote single units and standardised fleet builds with volume breaks.

X9-15 vs X9-15p — which should we buy?

The ‘p’ is the performance variant: it swaps the standard Aura 15’s efficiency-class V-series silicon for the H-class Core Ultra X7 358H (16 cores, stronger Arc B390 GPU), and pairs it with a larger 88 Wh battery and a 1,100-nit-peak OLED. Choose the 15p where users need more sustained compute; the standard X9-15 leans toward efficiency and lighter workloads. Servnet stocks the 15p (21VV0033UK).

Is the memory upgradeable?

No. The 32 GB of LPDDR5X-9600 is soldered to the systemboard in a dual-channel layout with no slots — it cannot be upgraded later. A 64 GB configuration is a factory-order option, so size the memory for the machine’s full service life at purchase. We can quote the 64 GB build to order.

Is this a mobile workstation?

No — it uses integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics with no discrete NVIDIA RTX Pro GPU, ECC memory or ISV certifications. For CAD, 3D and certified workstation workloads, the ThinkPad P-series (P14s, P16, P1) is the right choice; the X9-15p is a performance-class thin-and-light business laptop.

Does it have HDMI, and is it dock-friendly?

Yes — native HDMI 2.1 (up to 4K/60 Hz) plus three Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1, so it drives up to four independent displays and connects to any Thunderbolt 4 / USB-C dock over a single cable. There is no onboard Ethernet; wired LAN is via a dock or a Lenovo USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter.
