Smart-UPS Ultra uses true online double-conversion — all load power is continuously drawn from the inverter. Transfer time is zero: battery takes over instantly with no switching event, providing complete isolation from mains irregularities.
The integrated lithium-ion battery has an 8–10 year service life — matching a typical server lifecycle and eliminating the 2–3 battery replacements required over the same period by VRLA UPS units. Recharge from flat to 80% in 1.5 hours.
3000VA of online protection in just 1U of rack space. The included rail kit slides into standard 19-inch racks. Tower orientation is also supported — converts from rack to tower with no additional parts.
