The Sentryum third-generation transformerless design achieves 96.6% efficiency. In a 60kVA installation, the efficiency improvement versus a transformer-based UPS translates to approximately 2.1kW less heat dissipation — reducing cooling load and improving PUE continuously over years of operation.
Compact (CPT) cabinet provides standard battery runtime in the smallest footprint. Active (ACT) includes additional capacity for extended runtime. Xtend (XTD) connects external battery cabinets for hours of runtime. All three use the same UPS module.
Up to 8 Sentryum units can parallel — automatically sharing load and providing N+1 redundancy. Any single unit failure is transparent to the load; remaining units carry the full system automatically.
Dual-core DSP processor controls 3-level IGBT inverters at 18kHz — providing precise output voltage and frequency control with <1% output THD at resistive load. High switching frequency enables faster transient response and smaller filter components.
5-inch colour touchscreen provides intuitive access to UPS status, measurements, alarms, event log, battery information, and configuration. Multi-language including English for UK deployments.
Sentryum supports 3:3, 3:1, and 1:1 input/output phase configurations — enabling installation where 3-phase supply is available but single-phase critical load is present, or vice versa. Wide input range supports generator compatibility.

The 96.6% online efficiency is achieved through a transformerless power stage, high-frequency IGBT inverters with 3-level topology, and active power factor correction. At unity power factor, the Sentryum's kVA and kW ratings are identical — eliminating derating calculations and ensuring nameplate kVA translates directly to usable kW of IT load protection.
The parallel redundancy architecture (up to 8 units) enables scalable critical power infrastructure that grows with the data centre. Three cabinet configurations (Compact, Active, Xtend) address different runtime requirements from the same UPS module, providing flexibility without requiring different product families.
