Its 400,000 concurrent session capacity and support for 400 simultaneous VPN peers means it can comfortably serve branches of 100–300 users without bottlenecks.
Running Cisco FTD software, the FPR1140 delivers comprehensive threat protection: NGIPS signature-based and anomaly detection backed by Cisco Talos updates, AVC for granular application control, URL filtering across over 280 million classified URLs, and Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) that tracks files across the network and into endpoints via Cisco Secure Endpoint integration.
