The Dell Pro 5 Series 14 (P514260) is the 2026 refresh of Dell's entry business 14-inch laptop. Dell adopted a slightly different naming for this refresh — "Pro 5" replaces "Pro" for the entry tier, "Pro 7" replaces "Pro Plus" for the premium clamshell tier, while Pro Plus continues for convertibles and Pro Premium for the ultraportable flagship.
Practically, this model targets the same buyer as the 2025 Pro 14 (PC14250) — fleet rollouts that value repair, recycled content, and a vPro-capable workhorse. The 2026 refresh tightens the sustainability story: chassis goes from 50% to 55% post-consumer recycled aluminium, the repair design targets iFixit 10/10 scoring, and Dell publishes per-model Product Carbon Footprint declarations.
On silicon, the Pro 5 Series 14 keeps the 2025 Intel Core Ultra Series 2 baseline but adds an optional Copilot+ qualifying configuration — the new Intel variant with 40+ TOPS NPU that meets Microsoft's on-device AI threshold. RAM ceilings stay similar (32 GB LPDDR5x or 64 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM), and storage moves to M.2 2280 only for serviceability.
For UK customers already running a Pro 14 fleet, the Pro 5 Series 14 is a drop-in refresh — same imaging, same accessories, same docks. Servnet quotes both — choose Pro 14 if you need stock immediately, Pro 5 if you want the higher recycled content and Copilot+ option.
Direct successor to Pro 14 — same imaging and accessories, with improved sustainability credentials.
55% PCR aluminium, EPEAT Gold, ENERGY STAR 9.0, published Product Carbon Footprint.
Optional 40+ TOPS NPU SKU qualifies for Microsoft on-device Copilot+ features.
