RTX PRO 1000 or RTX PRO 2000 — which build?

Both are NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs with 8 GB GDDR7. The RTX PRO 1000 (21RS004JUK, up to 440 AI TOPS) suits CAD, GIS and design review; the RTX PRO 2000 (21RS004KUK, up to 572 AI TOPS) adds headroom for heavier BIM, simulation, GPU rendering and local AI. The two stocked SKUs share the same CPU, memory, storage, display and chassis — the GPU is the only difference.

P16v Gen 3 vs P16 Gen 3 — what's the difference?

The P16v is the value 16-inch workstation: Core Ultra H silicon, non-ECC DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, RTX PRO 500/1000/2000 GPUs and a ~2.1 kg chassis. The flagship P16 steps up to Core Ultra HX processors, ECC memory and higher-tier RTX PRO mobile GPUs in a larger, heavier chassis. Choose the P16v for portable ISV-certified workstation power; the P16 for maximum compute and ECC.

Can we upgrade the memory and storage later?

Yes. There are two SO-DIMM slots (shipped as 2× 16 GB, expandable to 96 GB with 2× 48 GB DDR5-6400 CSODIMM) and two M.2 2280 slots (one 1 TB Gen5 SSD fitted, one free — to 4 TB total with RAID 0/1). Memory is non-ECC on this model. We can pre-fit upgrades before dispatch.

Do these have Intel vPro remote management?

No. Both stocked SKUs use the Core Ultra 7 255H, which is not vPro-eligible. If you need Intel vPro Enterprise for out-of-band management, ask us to quote the Core Ultra 7 265H or Ultra 9 285H P16v Gen 3 configuration to order.
