The FortiGate 1000F is Fortinet's premier fixed-form-factor data centre NGFW, combining 198 Gbps firewall throughput, 19 Gbps IPS, and 100GE QSFP28 connectivity in a purpose-built 2U chassis. Powered by Fortinet's NP7 network processors and CP9 content processors, it delivers line-rate hardware acceleration across firewall, IPSec VPN, and SSL inspection functions.
With 2 × 100GE QSFP28, 8 × 25GE SFP28, 16 × 10GE SFP+, and 8 × 10GE BASE-T RJ45 ports, the FG-1000F connects to all tiers of the data centre fabric — from 100GE spine switches to individual servers and management networks. Hot-swap redundant power supplies, fan modules, and dual SSDs (on the FG-1001F) ensure the high availability required for mission-critical data centre operations.
