In a compact 1U chassis, it accommodates Intel Xeon E-2400 series processors, DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen5, and HPE iLO 6 remote management — providing a capable, manageable platform for branch offices, edge deployments, and SME environments.
Processor options span from the two-core Pentium G7400 for light workloads to the Intel Xeon 6377P (12 cores, 3.1 GHz, 95W) for more demanding applications. Every supported processor runs DDR5 memory at up to 4400 MT/s, delivering a bandwidth improvement over previous DDR4-based platforms and enabling more responsive virtualisation and database workloads within the entry-tier segment.
Storage flexibility is handled through 4 SFF (6 SFF with the 2SFF kit) or 2 LFF drive bay configurations, supporting SAS and SATA drives, plus up to two NVMe U.3 drives with the 2SFF kit. The optional HPE NS204i-u NVMe hot-plug boot storage device provides a dedicated OS boot device, freeing primary storage bays for data. Combined with HPE Gen11 storage controllers and Intel VROC support, the DL20 Gen11 provides solid data protection for even entry-level deployments.
