ABM extends VRLA battery life by up to 50% compared to conventional UPS charging, reducing replacement frequency and total cost of ownership.

93PM Modular Hot-Swap Modules

The Eaton 93PM uses hot-swappable 50kW power modules — any module can be replaced while the UPS operates and the load is protected. No scheduled maintenance downtime, no load interruption. Combined with parallel frame redundancy, the 93PM offers two independent levels of redundancy.

99% Efficiency — ESS Mode

The 93PM achieves 99% efficiency in Energy Saver System mode, and 97% in full online double-conversion. At data centre scale, the difference between 94% and 97% efficiency represents thousands of pounds saved per year in electricity costs and significant reductions in cooling load.

Intelligent Power Manager (IPM)

Eaton's IPM software provides centralised monitoring, management, and graceful shutdown for all Eaton UPS — integrating with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Linux, and Windows. IPM supports VM migration via vMotion before host shutdown and integrates with DCIM platforms including ServiceNow and Nagios.

NETWORK-M3 Gigabit NMC

The optional NETWORK-M3 Gigabit network management card provides SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Modbus TCP/IP, dual Ethernet ports, IPv6 support, and a built-in web interface. Compatible with all major NMS and DCIM platforms, and rated for integration with Eaton's full UPS product range.

VMware Ready Certified

Eaton 9PX and 93PM are VMware Ready certified — validated for integration with VMware vSphere and listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility Guide. IPM provides vCenter-native UPS events and automated graceful shutdown of vSphere clusters on UPS low battery.
